Your church or group can request a seminar by completing the online application form. A seminar can be hosted by a single congregation or by a group of congregations. For Making Friends to take root in your church, we recommend that at least 20 percent of your adults attend the seminar. The minimum number of registrants is twenty adults (age 16 and over). The seminar lasts four hours. We recommend that it be offered on a Saturday morning or on a Sunday afternoon/evening. In the Columbus area… The seminar cost (including the materials) is $20 per person or $35 per couple. The host church(es) is responsible for registration. The registration fees should be collected before the seminar, and the final number of registrants should be communicated to Tyler Flynn at least three days before the seminar. Outside the Columbus area… The seminar cost is an honorarium of $700 ($350 each for Bill and Tyler) plus travel and lodging expenses. In addition, there will be an $8 charge for each registrant for the seminar materials. The registration fees should be collected before the seminar, and the final number of registrants should be communicated to Tyler Flynn at least three days before the seminar.
